dead even....thats why i was wondering who it was cuz it sounded like it was turbo, but maybe not...i am curious to see who it was, that had a custom license plate too, something about scions.?

But the TRD supercharger for the tC is a roots type blower which sounds nothing like a turbo.

Fore had a Sentra once as-well... I used to day dream about turbocharged B13s with smoked Tsuru headlights and shiny new Tsuru tail lights. Of course I wanted to turbocharge the GA16DE after hearing story after story from the people at FinishLine that did a junkyard turbo set up on a Sentra XE and how well it preformed. Guys in Mustangs on Barrett that used to come up to me and ask me if my car was "that fast turbo'd sleeper Sentra".
NissanPerformanceMag.com has been working with people on developing parts for the GA16DE and it's apparently got a nice little bit of potential.
"It's now evident that the GA16DE is a strong and reliable little motor. It's resistance to detonation makes it well suited for turbocharging, with its long stroke, small bore and shallow-angle, turbulent combustion chamber. The long stroke also helps spool the turbo quickly. With the exception of brute strength of its internal parts, the GA seems better suited for turboing than the SR20!"
Man... no body around here seems to have experimented with the potential of a GA16DE. Everyone knows SE-Rs were the one to get, but the sheer number of, and insanely low price of 90-94 Sentra XE coupes just lying around makes me want to save up a few hundred bucks and stick one of the little bastards in my garage to toy with.
Plus the GA16 sounds fairly unique.

yeah, I understand...I test drove a TC and it's definately not fast in any way....and I've driven a 3g eclipse gt.......so technically speaking you shouldve walked him, unless he was modded, and that TRD s/c doesnt have that great of a output, something like 70-80hp.....

yea i mean it wasnt too much of a race, we went from about 5 mph to about 75, so i dont know, i was kinda scared to race on that road, because thats were i got pulled over before....i would like to race again though....

alrighty man, it sort of sucked for me because he started is little countdown once we were already moving, so i started the race goin about 5mph, at less than 1000 rpm, if i would have been able to get a good start it would have been alot different....

Yea, I know of a few ga16de-t'd cars.
Generally they can make decent power, over 250whp for real cheap.
Turbo b13 with smoked tsurus sounds like it'd be more of a wet dream...mmm sounds hot.
The data on the 2 cars is close.
Scion tc 0-60 mph : 7.5 sec.
1/4 mile : 15.7 sec @ 88 mph
Eclipse GT 0-60 mph : 7.2 sec.
1/4 : 15.6 sec @ 89.9 mph
I saw a jacked up scion last night, shade of blue with custom plate forgot what it said.
Damn, those cars are slow.
