240 vs 04 Viper

That is your personal choice. But a Viper is a completely different car. Who says he bought the car for the looks he gets? It is possible he perfers a quick n/a car from the factory instead of putting thousands into it just to get it running decent.

He already spent thousands, 10's of thousands. If that is the car he wants then so be it. I would prefer to build minimum 6 cars that would walk that one, rather than spend that much money on one item, but that is just me. Didn't any of you learn, never put all your eggs in one basket????

As for just getting it running "descent" as you put it. 350whp on a 2500lb chassis= 11.20's. How do I know?????? I have the time slip to prove it from over a year ago when I was running that whp.

At least I am referring to times I have acually ran not someone elses, captain save a ho!!! 8 sec in the 1/8th??? In a street car???

Oh, and the point of putting the 11.20 time in there was to give you a reference of hp/wgt ratio and the times the 240's are capable of. Not to say that is was extremely fast or anything.

You wouldn't spend it because your income can't support it. But I bet if you could you would. All of you "import guys" say that crap. "I would never spend that on a car." Whatever you have to tell yourself to make yourself feel like less of a broke ass.

hey.. look at the cars on the sig---V i could have. but didn't. i have respect cars no matter where they were built. but you cant beat japanese reliability and style. i guess what im saying is... american muscle is ribeye.. great taste and lots of meat for your money.. but not fillet mignon

I never said I did know you. I just know that if you have the money to support it and still live comfortably you wouldn't be riding around in a 240. And the car belongs to me. Do you want me to show you the registration along with my dyno sheet, time slip from the track, receipts, drivers license, medical records, birth certificate... :jerkit:

First of all, I own 2 different other 240's and 2 other cars that are not projects. The picture of the car above is not a 240 it is a true rhd silvia I purchased out of Okinowa, Japan. Second of all, as I said before I am not the type of person to put all my eggs in one basket, which means I don't sink all my money into one vehicle( try comprehending what you read). 3rd- as I said before i was posting the time to give you a basis for hp/wgt ratio of a s13 chassis not to try to say anything about how fast the car was or used to be. I could care less about your how you work your finances or what type of hp you had when you dynoed the car and what time slips you can get from your buddies..... try again...

I am not trying to get in a pissing contest over how many cars I or anyone else have. You said if I had the means to buy one then I would have it and not a cfew 240's. Since you don't know me as we have already established I was letting you know that I have multiple cars and if I wanted to sell all of them to get a vette or a viper that would be an option. I am by no means rich but I can do what I like to do, which is build import cars. I CHOOSE NOT TO HAVE A DOMESTIC( it is a choice).

N/A??? If not how much money you put out for a turbo kit for that car and how about the standalone or program you are running. You talk about spending thousands, damn!!!!!!...
