So I had a run-in with a Maybach...
Me and the girl were just rollin' around wasting gas lastnight, a typical sat. night. Well, i notice thise giant thing roll up behind me while im waiting to make my left to head up to Gwinexico. S-class? No. Bigger. Hmmmm. Light drops to green and we turn. I take the left lane, he slips into the right..and notice what kind of behemoth was over there.... a Maybach 57s. Nice. So i happen to notice the next light is red. So we stop, and i start creepin', giving the "im not a slow driver" thing. Light goes green and i roll the clutch kinda hard... to see if he takes the bait. For a moment I thought he was just going to go about...until i heard this sucking-roaring sound... oh he was on it. So i jump back on the gas in 2nd and he pulls up behind me (due to traffic). Well a little further down the road me line up again. I know he is going to want to go. Well, while we are waiting on the light to go gree, he rolls his wondow down and says with a heave European accent "It's now time to race, ok?" We both laugh and get ready to go. From a stop up to ~80, i pulled 1.5-2 cars but had to shut it down. The Stop Light Grand Prix isn't about top end, it's about getting up and going... and i just don't justify going any faster eventhough the road was 3 lanes in each direction and there was no traffic around. But after I shut it down, he keeps going and gets in front of me and pulls over. I follow suit. He was a very cool guy too. Turns out he is a driver...more like shouffer, and was driving people around to a wedding in it earlier. He was also very happy to show off the car.... man that back seat.... sit in it and you might not want to come out....sh!ts PLUSH. Yes, it ooks boring on the outside, but my God that interior is great.
Cliffs- Race from Maybach from a dig. I win. Driver is cool, pulls over and shows me car as well as admitting defeat. I sit in back seat of said car and don't want to get out.
Yes, that car would leave me standing still from a roll though... i do know this. But what are the chances of getting to play around with a 600+hp 4-door luxury car?
