its a basic build with stock bore....just gsr with sleeves, pistons, and rods.
Oct 9 is a 1 day event... usually from 10am to 5pm or 6pm.... good local event but tracks here arent usually ever prepped lol. Although i think its better than atl dragway...well...atleast the customer service

Wow Charles this was a waste to read all this shit about a fast 3k car? Man you should have just bought a hatch and dumped 25+ grand into it and had a 9 second car or a nice quick Evo...your car is fast for what it is. A college kid's that works and goes to school....

sounds to me the EVO only runs cars he knows he can beat. Except for the admission to the BG car and Clark. How many others has he run, lost, and not posted the video? I have watched all the vids of his car and the supposed WHP of the other guys cars. Either they are lying about how much power they are making or, the evo is underrated. honestly i think the biggest bs was the 400 or 450 hp RX-7. same power as the evo and much lighter, from a roll, and he got walked ?????

If you don't believe the rx-7 story, the owner of the FD even posted the story himself on the rx7 forums... and people on there reacted the same as you... in disbelief that a lighter car with similar power would lose.

If I only ran cars I knew I could beat, there's no way in hell I'd try to run down a Viper SRT-10... or any Supra around 400whp... or a lot of the other cars I've ran. However, I do make it a point to try NOT to race cars that will not provide a competition... in other words, obviously destroy me. Having a -30whp to +50whp advantage is one thing... but a +100whp or more advnatage is a clear and obvious winner.
I know you don't know me, and I know you don't give a damn... but you can ask a lot of the people who are on this forum who ride with me in these races... I almost ALWAYS expect to lose every race I go into... so trust me, I'm suprised myself after almost each race.
Oh, and as I've stated before... and not trying to be cocky, but I've never lost a race with my current setup, except to BG's Evo... which is more of a DQ if you ask me. =]

I don't get why everyone jumps on here to hate on Charles.
He tells everyone everything they could possibly want to know about his car, including specs, fastest times @ Commerce, and even posts videos of himself racing a few other IA guys on the forum that were all members of.
It seems like there's always someone with a faster car who's all bent out of shape because Charles wont run them. Everyone knows your car is faster, what's the fucking point? So you can be like "HAHA I beat that guy on IA who posts video of himself running people. I've only got 800 less pounds and 100 more whp. But we should race anyway just to prove that I've got a faster car."
Charles is usually very polite and even when he calls people out to run him he does it in a polite fashion. He doesn't talk shit to anybody, he doesn't run his mouth, but he's constantly got people with ridiculously and obviously faster cars wanting to run him for one reason or another, then talking shit when he backs down. What's the fucking point? Everyone knows the Honda is a faster car and Charles himself said so. There's your kill. He usually runs cars with an apparently similar power to weight ratio, it's not a huge deal.
Everyone knows you have a fast Honda, so why not race someone with similar specs and dyno numbers? Talking shit to a guy for backing down from a race with you is stupid. He's been polite, and said no. We all know how the outcome of the race will turnout, and that kind of spoils the fun of it.

Dude some people know how to race and push the car to the limits. I dont know Charles but i can relate on this topic. It's like a stock car in Nascar, they are all equal but how does a car get walked on a straight away when the cars are close to equal-well it's the driver, the way the car is functioning at the time dadada. Im not sure the exact term but your car can have problems and not be tuned or dialed in to peak performance on that exact run. Just because a car is a little lighter and has more horse power doesnt mean it will always beat the lesser car.

he might have a good chance to like 100mph from a dig, Im not sure how a 500hp fwd would do against a 300+hp 4wd from a dig but im sure he would probaly pass you up in 3rd gear or somewhere around 80-90mph

if on street tires... it seems that even FWD cars pull the same 60ft as an AWD ...atleast in commerce...
best 60ft on Danny's is a 2.2 60ft with Regular street tires... what does CT9's AWD pull?

HAHA i have one EVO under my belt already that dynoed alot higher then Charles and this was at the track from a dead stop!! I guess some people underestimate the little civic that could!!! That was the Evo charles lost too, so i guess he is pretty far down the food chain!!
damn, i guess it depends on driver. I pulled 2.2 in my stock mr2 at 13psi and i raced a stock evo once he got about a car jump on me and i passed him up in 3rd gear. Im guessing average would be a 2.0? for stock evo? im not sure im just talking mess
