Yup i went down once without a jacket and got rash on both arms and my stomache. I could barely even move my left arm because i got so much rash. Ill never ride without a jacket again lol.
i went down at 30mph and shattered my right shoulder"broke my clavicle n 2 places and dislocated the shoulder" pulled alot of stuff in my neck. and fractured my skull. i was in icu for 2 weeks, and lost about 2 quarts of blood out my ears while goin n2 seizure for the first 3 days. they didnt know if i would make it but im alive and heathy and bought to purchase another bike.
note to all riders, ride strong but always watch squids in front of you and loose gravel lol!

4 years ago I went down twice with no gear, one time about 30-35 mph and 50 mph the next and just came out with a scratch.
Damn thats a lot of sh.it for only going 30 lol. I went down at around 50-60 and just got a lot of road rash, guess i just got lucky.

I wrecked going 70-80 mph on hwy 60. I faired pretty well with all my gear on.
ya i got screwed cause it was a low sider then i landed in the ditch and the bike slid into me and flipped over me which is what did the shoulder damage

No doubt, but if something happens at 120mp on 4 wheels which are 10" wide it can be corrected. It's much harder to correct something on a bike. At least you can entertain us by wearing the proper gear while doing dangerous acts. Nah mean? I'm all for the shorts and shirt on a bike (my dream) but at those speeds ya should wear a tad bit more.

ant, you've been pretty cool with me on here lately, but i am gonna say this.... 125-140.... not gonna make a huge difference because you're already pushing the limits of the car. by limits, i dont mean straight line, i mean if you have to try to maneuver... or if you hit somehting... either way, there wont be that much difference in the effect it has on you, your car, and your surroundings.
to the guys riding... honestly, at 180+, i really doubt gear is going to do any good. gear isnt going to stop the pavement, a tree, a guardrail or a median from breaking every bone in your body and/or causing brain damage, and most likely killing you on impact.
just ride smart. have fun, but whatever you do, expect criticism from it. stay safe!
