Think about every "bolt on" you can do...he's got it. Cam'd for sure. Supporting mods, probably a fuel sys. upgrade...a mean tune and 150ish maybe 200shot of n20. Not sure, this is just a shot in the dark and somewhat general, but give or take a few hp that sounds about right to me.

Are you sure about all that or are you just talking out of your ass like all his nut swingers? All hes got is intake, full exhaust, gears, a chip thats only tuned for his bolt ons and a big shot of n2o. Other than the n2o he has very simple bolt ons. The motor is completly stock.
And it's VERY slow on just motor.
It takes a big shot of nitrous to get that car to even run.

there aren't a lot of bolt on's for an E46 M3. I don't know Boris, I've spoken to him once. I'm not a nutswinger of anyone...Frankly thats pretty insulting. I call things how I see it, Idc who you are or what you've got. IF you have a fast car, then you've got a fast car. Those were off the top of my head guesses, but it made sense to me considering what he car has ran against. I also "know" M3's to an extent, so for the most part I'm confident as far as the bolt ons go. Atleast confident enough to know that he's got a quick car but a BIG shot of nitrous and a little bit of "weight reduction". The rest would make sense to me to keep the car reliable...I figured it was a "given".
Its a nice car, its "fast", end of story. I don't care who drives it..

I know E46 M3's. I heard his car, I've heard "about" his car, I've had more than 1 person tell me its cam'd. It has only made sense to me to put out that kind of power it should have those kind of bolt ons unless its a monstrous amount of N20. As far as the nutswinger comment goes, say what you want, its the internet I could really careless. I don't know him, I don't really care either. I think he's got a nice car, and as far as the power is concerned the mods I listed make sense for the power he's making. Excuse me for the way I put it, I should have reworded it. Thanks for the reply to this thread. I'm not sure if you've scanned through it or just kind of quick-replied, but I wanted to make it a point that, to my knowledge, Boris hasn't added any aftermarket camshafts to his car that I know about.

If you knew E46 M3's or any BMW's for that matter you'd know people put cams in them to shift the torque and power band up so there's more power/torque on tap for exiting corners at high RPM, not so much for straight line speeds. It's simply a trading game as there's minimal power to be had. Your dropping a smoothe low peak torque and shifting it up and adding a few horsepower as well so the second you roll on the gas out of say turn 5 at Road Atlanta at 6000rpm you have that much more torque and HP on tap. The good tuners can smoothe this out and tune out some of the torque losses from down low.
It would be foolish spending $2500+ for a peaky torque band and 15whp. Nobody cams an E46 to go street racing. Trading for a peaky torque band at 5500rpm instead of full torque at 3000rpm down low all to have slightly more power at higher RPM's will not help you for sh.it.s in the 1/4..which is what he likes to do with that car. The most aggressive cams with a custom tunes can net you MAYBE 20whp at the absolute most but because Boris has no stand alone and hasn't taken it to TRM to fully tune the stock ECU he can't fully tune the car, so even if it was cammed he'd be seeing less gains.
The car has so much power because its 11:1 compression stock and a factory forged inline-6. It's a perfectly balanced motor, forged rods, ITB's which can responds very well to boost and obviously nitrous
It's probably the fact that he's got stiff ass suspension and he's dragging with it. Not smart. Will brake diff housings, mounts, half shafts etc. The car went 13.0@107 IIRC completely stock at Commerce. I think thats almost the same speed as most 6.0 GTO's with a good driver on street tires. I believe the E46 M3 "record" is a 12.7@107 like the Ranger record so many LSx guys post and a 12.4@108 with a reflash..but this s.h.it was done like 6 years ago.. I'd like to see you and him run motor to moter on the highway. That'd be funny seeing that turd sized 3.2 that's been spraying for 50k give you a run.

Damn, if it has ITB's that explains a lot. I've driven by this car several times and it seriously drowned my system out, I thought he was running straight pipes or something. Sounds like hot dirty sex. In a good way, of course.

Last I remember hearing, back when my brother was racing Boris in the Z... Boris' M3 was making about ~500hp with Nitrous....but that I dunno.
