Its just annoying when people talk about others car about their mods and they think they know exactly whats done to it and that starts rumors but you dont even know sh.it about that car.
    I know E46 M3's. I heard his car, I've heard "about" his car, I've had more than 1 person tell me its cam'd. It has only made sense to me to put out that kind of power it should have those kind of bolt ons unless its a monstrous amount of N20. As far as the nutswinger comment goes, say what you want, its the internet I could really careless. I don't know him, I don't really care either. I think he's got a nice car, and as far as the power is concerned the mods I listed make sense for the power he's making. Excuse me for the way I put it, I should have reworded it. I didn't mean to speak as if I knew him. Sorry I "annoyed you"

    If you knew E46 M3's or any BMW's for that matter you'd know people put cams in them to shift the torque and power band up so there's more power/torque on tap for exiting corners at high RPM, not so much for straight line speeds. It's simply a trading game as there's minimal power to be had. Your dropping a smoothe low peak torque and shifting it up and adding a few horsepower as well so the second you roll on the gas out of say turn 5 at Road Atlanta at 6000rpm you have that much more torque and HP on tap. The good tuners can smoothe this out and tune out some of the torque losses from down low.


    It would be foolish spending $2500+ for a peaky torque band and 15whp. Nobody cams an E46 to go street racing. Trading for a peaky torque band at 5500rpm instead of full torque at 3000rpm down low all to have slightly more power at higher RPM's will not help you for sh.it.s in the 1/4..which is what he likes to do with that car. The most aggressive cams with a custom tunes can net you MAYBE 20whp at the absolute most but because Boris has no stand alone and hasn't taken it to TRM to fully tune the stock ECU he can't fully tune the car, so even if it was cammed he'd be seeing less gains.

    The car has so much power because its 11:1 compression stock and a factory forged inline-6. It's a perfectly balanced motor, forged rods, ITB's which can responds very well to boost and obviously nitrous

    It's probably the fact that he's got stiff ass suspension and he's dragging with it. Not smart. Will brake diff housings, mounts, half shafts etc. The car went 13.0@107 IIRC completely stock at Commerce. I think thats almost the same speed as most 6.0 GTO's with a good driver on street tires. I believe the E46 M3 "record" is a 12.7@107 like the Ranger record so many LSx guys post and a 12.4@108 with a reflash..but this s.h.it was done like 6 years ago.. I'd like to see you and him run motor to moter on the highway. That'd be funny seeing that turd sized 3.2 that's been spraying for 50k give you a run.

    Either way the m3 looks nice, sounds sick, and is fast! The cf hood n trunk are sick! Damn I love m3's! It's prob almost as fast as my maxima...j/k
