i dont think anything about hiding mods, it's street racing and I don't care. I have "all mighty cams", but it does almost nothing for me horsepower wise other than shift my power band up top and I don't hide it because that's just funny. I did not spend $1200 to go faster in a straight line, but come out of a corner with my power band where I want it. Everyone thinks "oh it has cams" yet is a completely stock 3.2 obd1 with a tune and 150k.
Ask yourself why someone who's done over 20k on tracks would care about doing a dig pull in a road racing car with 600lb rear springs and a cage where it's illegal. Where I come from when we had the urge to drag race we'd line up 10 track cars at a time and race across the entire AMS parking lot, because it was ours for 3 days each month. Now that is fun.
Also, several of my highschool friends had S2000's, and I had raced one of them over 15 times in a row and all the way back from SDR for shats...It's not hard to take one from 4th as my gearing is very short.
