1.8t golf vs. 350z

i'm coming home from np and i roll up to a light i see a black 350z 2 lanes over and one car up, so i'm like alright maybe he'll actually run, i've been dying to see the dub vs. 350... (we are on pleasant hill)

so he doesn't see me b/c we are stopped at a light; he revs up and takes off at the light... cars get rolling i cut over 2 lanes and fly up behind him. he sees me on his bumper and he begins to take off, i pull up along the side of him and then just pull on him like it was nothing... he gave up real quick as soon as i pulled away from him he then shut down... ok so now i've passed him by and am about 10-20 cars ahead, so i keep tapping the breaks and slow way down.

now he does the true ricer drive by at like 60, so i speed up get all up on him and we have to slow down b/c of a car, but i was about to tear into him again. finally we get on R. Reagan Pkwy and we are stuck in cars again. he then breaks free from the traffic speeds up and gets off the 1st exit

i've never raced one before but i thought they would have a little more trouble , but that car was easier run than a GT mustang.

im guessing a VW weighs a bit more than an RSX type S.. we messed around with a Hondata RSX crew.. very VERY cool guys.. and very impressive and one hell of a fight they put up when we ran.. but these guys were making 200-210whp... with much better gearing for top end compared to a Golf. and we still managed to pull away up top... with your torque i could see why you would be some trouble down low for a Z.. but. yeah man take mine or Z33k's offer.. it would be cool!

RSX's had Hondata/Kpro, Intake, exhaust, raceheader. all basic boltons

i'm down... i really want to do a hwy run w/ one... from a dig my car is alittle heavy/slow (on 19"s) but as soon as i spool up it gets moving.

and he was defiantely trying, so we'll see. come out to a meet one night and we can run

Does the Automatic G35 4d00r have an LSD? If not then if you go like 60-70% throttle on a left turn from a traffic light stop your inside would be spinning like a top right?

how do you define a "track car"? You mean a car that makes a lot of hp? I know Zs aren't track cars since they don't have any power. Just because you can't beat shawns car don't call it a race car.

No I've raced from a dig before, sucks, but not horrible.

If he and I are at the same place, and he is up for it, I will. I haven't ever seen his car though.

yeah his Z is pretty quick , I raced him before with my old GTI / Chip and 3" TB and boost leak : ( it was close but the Z was little bit faster...
