yeah, they are, but this is how it looks on paper:

Cobra curb weight = 3665lbs
hp (dyno @ wheels) = 404hp

G8 curb weight = 3990lbs
hp (dyno @ wheels) = 315hp

They just dont add up. I know that anything can happen in real life, but when we run them, I'll be sure to get it on vid.

Thats what one dynod at the wheels. They claim 362 @ the flywheel. Dont get me wrong, its a sweet ass car, just not a cobra killer though.

There are also 2 motors the V6 G8 and the V8 LS3 6.2 should make more then 315whp though. Still don't think it will take a 03-04 Cobra

negative... the ls3 isnt out yet. the g8 gt has the 6.0 L76 engine. when the gxp comes out, then it'll have the ls3 slightly detuned to a tick over 400 at the flywhee. the L76 v8 is rated around 360ish. i still dont think the gxp will beat a 03-04 cobra, but then again thats not what its being compared to.
