nick's evo is def. fast but it has no lag which is where he shines like no other. a c6z06 with mods should be a good run or a c5z06 on the bottle.. either way, i'll be there to tape this **** lol

so you think a evo in the 500 region as he says is capable of 9s at 140+mph.
charles 700+hp evo doesnt even run near that. i say it would be a good race with a bonestock 750. which will run mid to high 10s at 128-134ish depending on rider

David Buschur's street driven 35r evo trapped 151 in the 1/4 mile on a 2 liter. Nick is on a bigger turbo better hwy gearing and has a 2.3. I dont doubt at all if Nick was on race gas it would be a hell of a good race against a 1000cc bike.

He isn't in the 500 range. If you understood how DB's spits out numbers, you would have a better understanding of what your dealing with. Since I used to have an Evo and followed every single one of DB's builds, I think my expectations are very realistic. That said, I think its time for Evolunchbox to start racing things in his league so we can see if I am right.....*cough* *cough*

    I can tell you that on my last set-up, on low boost/race gas, I trapped 140MPH with a 2.2 60ft. I didn't have a 1st gear then, hence the ****ty 60ft.
I'm now making a lot more power over my old race gas tune on staright 93oct.
If I were to race a liter bike I would run race gas and high boost to be ultra sure it would be a "fair" race. I may have the opprotunity this weekend if the weather is good. But I still want to race a modded Z06...lol

I think it's a rough call, comparing a 1000cc bike to anything from a dig (or actually, from a roll too, I suppose). The slightest throw of the throttle and the bike lifts straight into the air. It takes a REALLY, really good driver to keep a bike with that much power down on the ground to get an even semi-decent launch off the line. I see most of the 1000cc guys on the bike forums running low 11's to high 10's just because of difficult launches (I'm talking your every day, average bike owner at the track). That's why the majority of 1000cc vs. 750cc 1.4 times are relatively close.

I couldn't drive my car into 9's because I sucked at racing it... I'm sure my Evo with a proper driver and upgraded ignition could net a low 9 pass, especially on the bottle.

I've raced a mod'd 1100cc bike and went 1-2 against it... 'bout the fastest bike I've ever raced.
