I don't think collins would have pulled on me.... I was moving out pretty good and I was actually pulling away from him until I backed out. It wasn't by much at all but he can chime in with what he saw as I didn't have the best vantage point looking over my shoulder. before i say this, let me say I'M NOT SAYING THIS AS AN EXCUSE... but... i'm still not convinced there's not something on your car thats unseen and you're not telling us.... that run just doesnt add up to me. i know i'm not john force or anything, but i know how to drive my car. there is no reason i shouldnt have been running you down after the launch. you're on stock exhaust maniflods, i saw that. it wouldnt make sense for you to port your heads, as it would be a waste of money without AT LEAST headers... all i know is you were shifting WAY before me every shift. i know you said you didnt have gears, but man i gotta be honest with ya man... i'm not convinced.

is this the confirmation you were refering to Thacker?
I didn't see the type of tires he was running but the larger diameter of say a 28" tall slick would widen his gears (duhh), therefor if he was shifting before you then ....hmmall i know is you were shifting WAY before me every shift. i know you said you didnt have gears, but man i gotta be honest with ya man... i'm not convinced.

An intake/exhaust/tuned goat is still going to get a high 12@108-111ish IIRC on slicks on a good day, Collins car is a good bit faster then that.
