    Default ricer ass mustang goes down tonight

    ok, if any of you went to bp at all last year, or this past week, you've probably seen that black 2002ish body style gt mustang with the BIG ASS Ford Racing logo across the hood... he's also obnoxiously loud...

    well i found him picking on a little civic with a body kit coming down 85 south tonight... the honda had r34 skyline tail lights and a wing. it wasnt shandy, but the other guy thats got them. anyway, the mustang guy was stalking him, taunting him. so i thought to my self, aww thats cute... picking on a little guy...

    SO.

    i then thought to myself "this guy needs to pick on someone a little more "race" worthy than a kitted out honda" so i simply put it in 4th to let the revs come up a little as i creeped by him. at first, he didnt bite... but then he slid over a lane exposing an open lane for me. so i slid over. i'm still in 4th when i hear him drop to a lower gear and nail it. well i let him get about a half car ahead, then i drop to 3rd and instantly reel him back in and by the time i hit 4th i have a couple cars on him.


    he slows down...

    so i slow as well. he doesnt come back up to me, but i wanted to play a little more. i ease it into 3rd and slow down and just wait for him (i'm doing about 40-45, so he HAS to come back up to me). well as he nears my rear quarter panel, i hear his car... raaaaa..... RRRAAAAAAAAA!!!!! i figure i'll just mess with him a little, so i let him jump out about a car and a half or so as i just feather the gas. then i nail it. i came, i caught, i dominated. the final run he hung a little better with the 1.5 car jump i gave him... but it still wasnt near enough as i proceeded to put another few carlengths on him. it was pretty ugly. maybe now he knows how the little hondas feel when he tries to pick on them

    i mean, seriously tho... that drives me nuts! why are you going to take a v8 car, make it loud as hell, then go out and pick on someone who OBVIOUSLY doesnt have a chance (ie: basically stock honda with some body accessories)? that would be like me picking on dirty mech. every chance i got

    Didnt the prior gen GT 4.6s only put down 220 something at the wheel? Hell even I put down 300 and I only have an intake

    they were rated @ 260 but I saw a bone stock one put down 245 to the wheels. They guy that dyno'd it said that car was very healthy.

    5.0 stangs were only rated @ 225hp and 280tq. cobra's were rated 235hp and not sure of tq.

    a guy across the street from me a few years ago had a 92 cobra... 454.... blower.... it was ok quick....

    damn, thats crazy. Its a shame to put a chevy engine in a mustang Im sure it was still sick though. Yeah, not in 92. First year of the SVT cobra was 93.

    or did he say 94?... hm idk anymore it was a white fox body fastback. i dont think it was a chevy motor... but what do i know anymore.
