92 nissan sentra vs 02 bmw m roadster.
Well I was driving to the SELOC meet today, and I see this blue m roadster pull up near me. He started revving a bit and downshifted so I figured I'd play along.
I downshift to 3rd, and he does the same. Then he jumps, so I punch it and my clutch slips. Well it grabs again and I pull on the M, shift into 4th, clutch slips again, it grabs and I pull past the M.
All in all it was fun, went from like 50-110.
I'd still rather have an M then my piece of shit sentra.

I say if the M wants another run it be only fair if Matt's clutch is not acting up. If so Matt is not the only DET powered Sentra on the block
I'm not much of "street racer" but I'll be more than happy to give you a run at a legal drag strip

Does anyone build the GA16DE that comes in the lower model Sentras? I had a 94 XE that I stripped to nothing but a drivers seat in an effort to make it quicker because i couldn't afford to buy parts and they were extremely hard to find.

I had (still "sort of" have) a '92 SE-R beater which some of you may remember about 2 years ago, and I used to run a lot of acetone and timing advance.
It was quick.

Well I already said I'd rather have the M.

But, I have driven over a week now.
That's cool. I'm always up for some fun.
I got a slippy clutch but I don't really care.
Yeah one its a 1.6 the other one 2.0. HP difference it's about 15HP with a bit less torque. They GA16DE is a good daily motor and some guys actually boost them and with good tuning you can actually reach the 200WHP mark at 13-15psi which is not bad for a motor that has about 100WHP. Funny thing is they still are a DOHC just like SR20DE's.
Parts for the GA are actually really easy to find and actually cheaper than SR parts. You probably didn't look in the right places but they make all the bolt ons you need to make it a bit quicker.

The last time I got dyno'd I was making 202whp and 202 ft lbs.
That was stock boost/no tune.

Probably 230ish or so, I'm not sure what I was making then.

I still have my stock injectors in. All I've done since then is put on the z32 maf and the profec-b.
I still run stock boost daily.
The M has a lot of power in 2nd gear. When I raced halfbaked I was in 3rd gear.
