Dirty M vs OnURleft establishes a good race

So you could call this a 12 second story because with proper slicks both cars are in the 12.9x area if they were really driven properly but that's not the point. We ran to see where we stand...10 year old Bimmer vs. loud ass G35. Who's faster? Where do they stand?

On the way down to SDR I ran Mike in his G and we had one of the best races I've taken part in. No.. both cars arn't crazy fast but if you wouldn't enjoy this watch then you don't like racing.
My car = 1 175lb passenger..full tank of gas
Mike= Alone..gas unkown

We hit it from 60mph and went to 130mph(my weak spot..I don't know about him but we didn't want to hold up traffic).
From 60mph to approx 95mph Mike had me his front mirror to my front corner light. It was literally neck and neck..Mike got the honks and the start looked even to me. From 100mph on I crept but at a hardly noticable pace. At 125-130mph I pulled back his front bumper to the back of my window and we shut it down. I had a huge grin because that was a good run and a stout G35

Both of us are in the 250whp range like Dirty Job said and are very similar. He has alot more torque but I have him by roughly 100-200lbs if i'm alone ( I think). It was a really fun race hah.

exhaust

Its not much faster cammed as many assume. About .2-.3 tenths in the quarter mile but fantastic for the track as the torque/power gain is always EXACTLY where I wanted it for the track on corner exits. (hence why mostly pure track M3's have cams).

I race girlieZ uncammed while she was tuned and whatever and she got my by 1 to 1.5 car 40-120.

If thats open my way... which if its not I understand, sorry to interupt. I'd like to run either the g or the m3. They have a little more power than me but my car is a good bit lighter than the g and maybe a little lighter than the m3.
Oh and I have a camera that takes pretty good night vids.

yeah thats why it was a 65 roll in your sweet spot. and who cares who was with you. im right at 3600lbs with me and about 2/3 tank of gas. your like 3300. but we should try it again once i get this bad incident worked out. i know why i was only trapping at 100mph it was pulling some serious timing. F BP im sticking with my gas station from now on.
