Well yall can think what ever you want im just saying what happend, I went to the strip with the GTO and both of the mustangs and the best the GTO could pull was a 13.9X, the best both of the mustangs could pull was 14.4X so i dont see how this is so unbelievable to yall. THe stang with all the mods hasnt been back to the track but im sure it will be alot faster with the new gears.

It was like 94 degrees and at commerce. I saw a ZO6 runing 13.6's the same day. But im not going to say they are the best drivers in the world thats for sure.

lol, good kill. I raced an S197 n/a saleen from about 80-120 and we were nose to nose the whole time. I had a passenger and he was riding solo. I know, my car is slow toome and some friends got bored and decided for some odd reason to drive up to BPlol as soon as we step out of our cars po po starts trippin telling everybody to GTFO so we rode over to park and ride and stood around trying to get retro a run but nothing was really going on that was worth it. my car is slow as a turtle with a brick tied to his tail so i wasnt really looking for anything. plus i really dont race as much as i used to. it being gwinnett of course some d1ckbag starts doing a burnout in a f150 then shortly after the cops show up there and tell everybody to GTFO so we said f*ck and rode back home. a few minutes after hitting the highway i see the unmistakable headlights/fog lights of a new mustang GT in my side mirror and see retro trying to play with him but he wasnt having any of that he wanted to pick on the slow n/a 350Z. he pulls up next to me and start pacing me at 60mph and i see the guy riding with him start counting to 3 with his fingers at 3 we both hit and are dead even for a second then i start pulling steadily...at 120ish i have 2-3 cars on him. he comes back again and we go through this same thing again with the same outcome, and then he decides to try again, maybe thinking 3rd times a charm for him but again i pull 2-3 cars by 120ish when i let out. then he hits his blinker drops back and gets off the exit and i just smile and drive my @ss home.
PS-i know my car is still slow so dont flame me too much

lol trust me... i know the issue of too much weight all too well... with me in the car, mine weighs in at 3900 and a little change.
collins you must not have seen were i was talking about how the Mustangs and GTO's i raced were AUTO's!! I never siad i could beat a 5 speed but i will try if you want to run.

no sir, i definately read it, but the autos are alot easier to pilot on the track because the sweet spot for launching an m6 (6 speed, not 5) is hard to find. i wasn't trying to be an ass, i just know that the autos aren't THAT much slower on the strip than the 6 speeds unless something is wrong with it.

ohh i remembered this 06 stang that chased me down on 20. he put a car on me when i was on my "200 dollar cam/i/e theifed" tune....he gave me his number if we were going to go out and run. he is in the low 300s with boltons. chad pm me if you want his number he is on the west side.
I only got to run one time the last day it was open for 2007 and i pulled a 13.99 with ****ty tires. I want to go to that infinity/nissan get together at silver dollar on march 16 and get some good runs in, now that i got some good tires.

so the gto ran a 13.9x, and you ran a 13.99.... how did you pull anything on it if you essentially ran the same times? what was your trap speed? his?
I dont remember the traps i think they were both around 102 or 103 but like i siad i was runing on hard ass bald tires. i boged out of the hole trying not to spin and thin spun half way through second gear. so the time i ran does not reflect what my car is capable of. I am going to see if my buddy wants to make a video in the GTO just to show you what happens.

a 102 or 103 trap is low to mid 13's.....
it varies, the DE z33 running 13.0ish will trap 104-105...so 102 to 103 is reasonable for mid 13's
well not usually for low 13s unless you're pulling a 2.0 or better

im just saying if he ran 13.99 at 103 his car is having some trouble outa the hole. mine ran 13.99 at 100 with a 2.3 60' with i/e. and im a bad driver lol.

i ran it...my 3rd run, might have been against you (ran 14.1 and 14.0 and my first two)....collins got it to hit 14.0 i think with a 2.2 60'. no lie he will come on here and vouch

not necessarily... when i ran mid 13's i trapped beteew 107-109... then again that was with 2.2-2.5 60' times too...
sure, everybody knows cars run slower on teh track than tehy do on the street
but you have to remember that was in an awd car, so they generally get out of the hole much better, but usually dont have the top end to back up a 110-115 trap. so thats like comparing apples to oranges.
collins...i was refering to the DE z33 not you silly v8s! kk? i was meaning the z that said he trapped 103 at 13.99 while beating a 6.0 goat should be in mid-low 13's with that trap. read the the z boards...thats what most to all of the low 13 sec DEs trap.
i think i might had my testpipes on but they were jacked up. we had to rethread the 02 sensor bungs bc they were stripped so i wasnt running a 02 sensor in a test pipe for awhile until i could make it to sutherlin and get the key. so yes it could quite possibly been running rich due to thati know that most run really rich (IE chadbee) with i/e/testpipes (like low to mid 14 AFR)
