If you are @550 on pump gas I would like to give you a run from a 25 roll with me on motor.............you down for that?
It made right at 550 on pump on the old setup, and Ive done nothing to change what it should make at that boost level. So Im expecting its very nearly the same now. I havent honestly dynod it on pump on this bottom end. CR is same though, so Im sure it's close.
I might do that for fun sometime, but I almost always run race gas. We'd have to play it by ear if I happen to be on pump gas sometime when we're out. I dont really understand the point of running with our cars handicapped though... I built it for high-boost and good fuel

    I had a blast too!

Good runs, Matt. I'll get the video posted of my view.

Lankhoss' car really moves. He kept up with me and Matt in the first run. Me and Lankhoss didn't get to wind the cars out much at all. We'll definitely line them up again on a better road soon.

I raced Retro too. This time we both had passengers and my bottle pressure was where it needed to be. I'll let the video do the talking.

I'm tired of these lame 55mph rolls, though. Sticky tires are in my very-near future.

OK stop the music. How the hell was the C6Z hanging with to bottlefed C5Z's?

    Lighter- ok
    Better gearing- ok
    Still doesnt add up.

I can guess what both the C5Z's make and we all know what Lankhoss makes; I am baffled.

I hear ya. My car stands no contest with you on race fuel; very obvious.

To see how I might fair against you on pump is the question. Now if I said you on pump and me on bottle now that would be a major handicap as it would be major........:idb: <---with me being this guy.

It's not a $$$ race just a fun race to see what happens. You stated that with you on pump from a higher speed roll it would be pretty damn close with you and Matt. Matt makes a ton more power than me on motor or on bottle.
So the pump gas race would be for me to see how I compare to a 550rwhp Supra.

Therefore I pose the question/request to you for you and I to line up with you on pump, and me on motor in the same race you did with Matt. I am not stating whether I will win or lose- that is the point of the race.

I just don't understand how Daniel and Matt weren't pulling away from Lank - were your bottle pressures both down on those runs?

Here's my raw footage from the day, sorry for the file size ~28 mb.

Doesn't make sense to me, either. C5Z's are lighter than C6Z's though (not quite sure which one you are saying is lighter in your post).

The only thing I can think of, is maybe there are inconsistant power numbers from bottle temps/pressures when spraying. I know Matt had a piece break off of his header on that pull, which probably cost him 20whp or so (just guessing), but Daniel should have been ahead of both of us.

    Yeah, I dunno.

I was surprised how well your car hung. We need to line back up and go all the way out to 150. Not that it would change much, if anything, but for my own curiousity's sake.

Good runs against that KB GT500.

So when I come up to race or go somewhere it sucks dealing with the off and on action of a racing clutch. It will be soon though because I want to race Lightspeed and some of these Vette's. If I could find a safe place/garage (hint, hint) closer to where we meet it would be a lot easier.

Your talking stock weight numbers. Your car is lighter than Matt by fact; car has been weighed. Daniel's I cant speak on though.

    Gotchya, you are right.

Daniel's car has a heavy sub in the rear, as well. Mine weighs right at 3110lbs with a half tank of gas in it (measured at Silver Dollar). I think I dropped about 25 - 30lbs with the headers.

i got the mccloud twin and it's every bit as good as a stock clutch. light feel, you can slip it, slide it, or drop it like a race clutch!!

^^^and to the above. who needs a chattering triple, when mine makes no noise, can drive in traffic with ease as mentioned above and is rated to 1500 ft/lbs.???
