I'm still stock ant, but my best numbers are...
if i could find my time slip, but it was somewhere around 13.00 @110-111 mph and like a 2.4 60' lmao (i shine in the 60' range)
Ever hear the phrase, "You get what you pay for" ?
$460 to tune isn't expensive and if it's from a reputable shop it's worth every penny. Don't cheap out on the most important part.
well tunning is tunning regardless of how it gets it air.

How many motors have you put through that Mustang?

I mean, come on....only a few people I know go through more engines than tires...

why did u get a cobra? your EVO was the ONLY one i liked that didnt have a wing. all the others look like shiot.Originally Posted by koffebean00
I've been thru a few motors. One of them was my fault, 2 of them were the tuners fault. One of those times was with a stock motor so cant blame him to much. But Builder me most of the time. This time will be Me and Scotts Machine Shop, installer: Me again, tuning: will NOT be Doug Lewis. We'll see how it goes.
Billy-i meant HP numbers foo
Thanks. I just got tired of it and I wanted to get rid of a car payment. Modding plus car payment equals lots of money.Originally Posted by TRYMY4.0

If you think MPH is expensive, that's nothing compared to Higgins. Much more expensive there.
Ant, Ed is a good tuner. I know several good tuners that you could go to. I got tired of paying for tuning, so I went to class and learned to properly tune myself.
i wouldn't even get a laptop..we have one and we hate it, the keys suck, the spacebar sucks, the "pad" mouse sucks...although i've heard of one brand that was damn good..can't think of it lol
I'll whistle while you whine.

g'luck with the new motor and tune trymy4.0. i don't know about the SCCA shop tuning your car. Hopefully their reputation will save you from building another engine.
I know that I raced a pre '05 GT this weekend that had quite a few pennies put in her and was tuned by MPH. For the work that was done, I should have lost. Instead, I put quite a few car lengths on him. With after talking to the car owner, I don't think I would take my car to MPH and glad to have travelled to Florida for my tune.
prob driver error then. not mph fault. mph usually makes more pwr per mod than ne other modular shopOriginally Posted by DC97Cobra

true, i dont know y you would even need that. unless for some reason the v6 needs more fuel because i have a v8, more hp and run a stock gt pump with 42lb inj and am only at about 80% eff. on my fuel pump
