raced an m3 last night

but we only went from like 35 to 100 ish. it was red, license plate : e36m3...

took alot to get him to race, followed him for a few miles on 141 (new barnacles), down to about 285... finally he decides to go for it. i eat him alive. it was fun!
he said he had a chip, exhaust and intake.

i dont race that much, so it was cool

Unless it wasnt an m3. 323 with a kit and intake can be decieving though he's an expert supposedly.

With my 240 at around 10 pounds i was even with my buddies m3 with a turner chip/i/e.

And i had way more done than you. Big ass frontmount, cams, full exhaust,clutch,flywheel, Everything. And that was on a type x motor.

Turn up the boost to 14 or so and you may pull away.

Why rag at 11-12 boost he should be running more than 200whp. Hell at 6psi I was running 256whp.

Cool read the post he was running 9 pounds on a stock turbo t25 which with those mods is about 200 whp on an sr. Stock sidemount and all. M3 is pushing more than that to the wheels and the weight difference isnt that substantial.

Also 6psi flowing a shitload more cfms than a t25 on a t3/t4 on a 2.4 with different stroke than an sr, there is no comparison. That doesnt even make sense to do.

I did read the post and still believe he should be running more than 200 whp at 9psi. Even so, I will yield and ask for his dyno sheet to see. I thought he would be in the 220ish range, which is still quite a bit less than the E54 at 280-290 whp.

As far as my 240 yeah it was a 2.4 and t3/t04 and could boost to 18-19. Stock internals but a whole lot of other shit.

hey dont worry, on the streets anything can happen.. but you have to understand with 201whp its a hard to beleive story. it sounds like you beat the driver but hey... thats mostly what determines the whole thing anyway.
