    sounds like another typical night at Commerce. What year vette is this? 114 is pretty stout for the mods you got. I would guess its a C5Z based on the trap.

    Almost glad I didnt come now. I hate nothing more than sitting in the staging lanes for hours on end while the clean the track.

    leavinu, what kind of cam did you get? and who did your install and follow-up tune? would like to get a cam/head package soon... only shops i heard of are MTI and vengeance racing around these parts...

    i'm undecided on headers...

    i think i got my thrust bearing with the tbrake

    i saw a white subaru running i believe it was....stick. i only taped one pass and he missed a shift on that one. looked to be running pretty good the rest of the time

    Blast.. I just saw this thread.. I would have gone to Commerce.. I guess it's a good thing though. 2 runs long boring waits in the staging lanes suck... Damn ricers

    honestly... it wouldn't have been worth it for anyone to come... it was only worth it for me bc i got my traction control thing figured out

    ya commerce ftl **** was packed and my first run ever i didnt launch and took it easy cause of wheel hop in first and second but still pulled a 13.3 and got kicked out for a vert breaking 13.5

    Bought the cam used and did not get a spec card so oddly enough I dont know the true specs of the cam. It is a mild cam and smaller than most others I have seen installed I can tell you that.


    Matt, who now works at Veng, did my cam install.
    Rob Walden does my tuning


    Its a true beast when you start modding the LS2.

    ekim: ya i was there, but we didn't leave till 7:30 so when we got there at 8:30 all the tech tickets were gone and it was right when that first car blew up and it took a good hour for them to clean up the track. we were watching in the bleachers, i don't remember seeing a blue z06, unless it's REALLY dark blue, i saw a black c5 z06 with black rims/chrome lip run a 12 something @ 118 i believe. we left at 11pm and i got a black carrera s starting in 4th and spinnin through 4th on the way back to bp LOL's
