i estimate dustin's right around the 300-310whp mark... here's why:

stock ls2's dyno around 345ish to the tires on average... plus intake and exhaust, maybe 360ish (plus or minus a few). now... with dustin and i, we may as well call us dead even, because there wasnt much pulling on either side. i mean it was REAL close. now even if my car weighed the 3700 lbs, if dustin was only at a 30whp disadvantage, he should've pulled away from me by about a car to car and a half. he didnt.... so i think its more like the 300ish mark.

How the hell are you gonna tell me what his car should be making??? every car is different with power. Have you ever heard about efficiency? (sp) I guess not... Dustin has intake, tbe, boost controller, o2 housing, and a flash. With all those mods he should be atleast 330whp so before you try and correct me about what an evo should be making do your homework

chill out man... re-read my post... i'm talking about pure physics here... the door jamb on my car says 4491lbs. dustins weighs i think he said 32xx or 33xx.... with power to weight, he should've pulled harder if he was at 330 because i estimate mine to be around 360ish. its not all about "effeciency" when it comes to acceleration. jeez, man get your panties out of a bunch, would ya?

hmm well considering my tires and hitting the limiter for a second, about the same. we did a 20-115ish (dustin let off early) and i had him by 1-2 cars.. could really tell.. id say it was about the same as your car. either way it made a difference with his car cause i think i used to win by 3-4..

Here is why I think Jay's STi might pull. Even though he's untuned, he still doesn't get as much fuel cuts as I do, even if he is over boosting, its not really a bad thing. I can shift that car alot better then mine.

Brake boosting 40-120 would be a good ass run. But who knows, if what Josh is saying is true about him being around 330whp, then Dustin would get the STi uptop.

ohh well when i hit 120 u were already off the gas.. and i asked you if u let off before 120 you said u did.. either way it doesn't matter. and i just said 1-2 cars because i couldn't tell and i was gonna let you say what the distance was.

definitly your best mod though. for sure.

mine and dustin's run was a d@mn good one. it was hard to see on the tiny lcd screen of the camera, but we did 2 pulls... one in his sweet spot and one in mine. the first run was 40-120ish... d honks... d pulls about a car off the jump. i'm playing catchup by now, but the funny thing is i get back up to him and we're like dead even when we have to shut down due to traffic we were approaching. the 2nd run was 70-130ish... i pulled about a half car off the jump, d got into his power band, came back even with me, then nearing the shut down i had him by about a fender. d@mn close races!!! good run dustin! hurry up and get that vid posted!

well thats where the difference was... off the jump i got just a little bit... then it was even.... then over 100 i started to INCH away.... but just barely. that was the 70 kick.

the 40 kick ended early due to traffic

now i know why collins called me today wanting me to come out...it was just too short of a notice, but i am down...i say sometime soon in mexico should be good. It's funny i went in to get my car tuned and lost HP/tq. If Dustin is putting down 330ish then he'll have me easy. Let me know
