    lol, ask iloveboost, or any other fwd guy..

    when you have a big turbo on a small displacement motor, feathering doesn't help, especially against a RWD 500whp v8
    because when you hit boost, you hit it hard
    and spinning ain't winning..

    so i know 198plus would kill me anywhere below 60mph

    remember when we stoped to talk that I asked you if you had to do some prep before you blow the horn and you say no, I only have to step on the gas..... odd

    The last run I didnt even brake boosted since you were being so slow with the horn. so I just went whenever I heard the 3rd horn.. I let off and then you pass me and then you light up your brakes I dont have the luxury of those big brakes like you .

    Funny........the last run you say you didnt brake boost, supposedly beat me by a car, but yet the other runs when you were BB'ing I was starting to walk away from you @60mph from a 40 start.




    I got a few missing components coming in this week so have your boosted bimmer ready.

    looks like im not going to be able to run.....the shop my car is at called and said its going to be 2 more weeks till its done, then once i get it back ive got a 500 mile break in on the new clutch. but when my car is back and ready,ill let everyone know so we can do some runs.

    the only cure for traction in a big turbo FWD car is BIG TIRES

    stuff some 225 DRs under that thing an youll be fine andy

    if hes running 225s AND DR then wow, i dunno what to say. he should be spinning that bad.

    is he running DR or Street Tires? is he running ET STREETS?

    he is running DR 225's. he has the world sport boost controller. havent had time to hook up his gear dependent function.

    needs to lose those bfg's and run some et streets when he goes racing. beefier springs in the rear if he doesnt have them could be a big plus too.

    yeah Omni drag rears and ET streets should do the trick. ive never really been a fan of the BFGs after seeing what the ET STREETs do

    they're great for running around but for racing you just cant beat the extra trac of et streets especially in fwd!!

    Yeah, that was me. At the time we ran, I believe I had pulled off some parts on my car, I was on pump gas, and I was on 215 street tires. I have everything back on the car now and was running race gas against AnclyT while on DR's.

    well my car,
    is basically as low as i can get it in the front.. without having my down pipe being torn off
    i'm running 225/50/15 bfg drag radials and some kei office coilovers

    before, when i had generic coilovers, i used to spin in 3rd, so the traction has gotten a lot better already

    if anything, i just need to hook up my independent gear boost and fix my ignition problem.. and maybe get some et streets in a bigger size

    Ok I've runed multiple cars in that stretch and you are the ONE and ONLY ONE that is scare of the light 5 degree "turns" in that part.

    Anybody with a desent knowledge of driving can make it. I'm used to be sideways all the time so there is no biggy for me it shouldnt be a big deal for you having those wide tires in the back, If I can do it with 235 I think you could do it with 255!

    Anyway since we have 2 diff. stories let's meet again bring a camera guy w/you I will bring mine, oh let's do it today if you want, meet me downsouth by moreland I have a good spot.

    Do you want to do a 20 - 150 that should let us know for sure who pulls on who... not the I'm going to but I dont think you are going to put me to shame if I race you with 340ish to the wheels...


    Let me know when boris and you are racing and i'll be there with my C16 to match you Nitrous.
