because they got itay bitay turbos that run out of steam quick... or else they would not launch like they do. Can't have both.
they trap low as anything for a car thats 4.5 to 60. I think its the gearing + awd on the earlier 5 speeds that causes sluggishness on the highway. I see it as Corvette Zo6 fast below 80 and about dead even with my old E36 up top. The new ones are better as i'm sure you know
