    Wink On the way home from the Varsity.....

    The highlight of my night... I got 2 runs in on the way home from the V. The guy took me by suprise and I suppose I did the same to him. I was practicing NLS'n on the way home so I had my rev limiter set pretty low and boost low as well. I only had a chance to guess a value to add to the boost before our runs... rev limiter was set at around 8200.

    First run, 60 ~ 130, it seemed like I slowly walked away the whole time (minus the shift). At the end, I had about a car and a half on him.

    Second run, 60 ~ 130+, he said he "dialed in" something this time... he immediately pulled two cars on me and then another when I shifted... at the end, he seemed about 3 cars ahead of me at least.

    I briefly talked to him afterwards and he said he races it at the track running low 10's @ 145mph+. He said he rebuilt the motor cause he blew the first one... this time with upgraded carbs and some other stuff that I didn't understand, lol. He also had some gas shifter thingie and extended the rear... and other stuff, again, that I didn't understand. Seemed like a cool guy.



    Oh, btw, he was riding a GSXR 1100.

    Is this what the bike looked like? It wasn't turbo'd was it... there is a black dude that I see @ the college lofts that is turbo'd

    It looks a lot like that but that's not it... this was a black dude riding though and the bike was black.

    The 1100s are very fast on the highway though... faster than the newer 600s forsure. Maybe not as quick as 750s though... There is a group of guys in the area he was racing that are fully built bikes making very good numbers thru carbs. It has been maybe 2 years since I've met up with them, but there was a old school Suzuki meet at the varsity a while back. I took my '82 GS1100E down there (don't laugh, I know it's a dinosaur). The guy I was talking about has a Mr. Turbo turbo kit. I think it made @ 270hp, pretty nice setup.

    its ok man.. g35's are slow. I used to own one and probably will be getting another one in the coming week. I had all the bolt on's on my old one and it was still slow
