One other question... why are the slower (ET) cars have higher MPH? 118 is high for a stock Z06 at the weight. Not saying it's impossible, just that most never get that high 114-116 is what I normally seen. I've seen some 124mph traps with stock C6 Z06s though, but thats a different beast.

When LEAVIN you and I raced, it was pretty damn loud between his exhaust and my car. My car is so obnoxiously loud its hard to hear anything plus he had his windows up.
He is right about the races.
Race 1 I pulled about a 1/2 car and then we stayed about the same, but if he didn't hear the horn then that makes sense.
Race number 2 he didn't even go so we can't consider that a race. I honked and on the 3 honk took off, looked back, and he never moved. lol
Race 3 was pretty dead even. I thought I may have pulled about a fender, but it was so close and hard to tell.
I would like to have seen what would've happened if I was brake boosting. :) Maybe next time I'll try.
Good runs nonetheless.

It's pretty common for cars to have a higher trap speed with a lower ET.
By the way, TransAm...I'm the blue C6Z that was racing you if you didn't already know. Come check out our site at: www.vmaxatl.com
I know it is, but why?Quote:

hope that makes sense
I killed a piston. Does that count?
Yeah that counts in my book.

The trap speed is the average of your speed over the two beams at the end of the track (the first is 66 feet before the finish).
