Time to settle it: Which Z will prevail?

I didn't miss a shift, I put the car in the wrong gear. We went from a 65/70 and I put it in third gear instead of second intentionaly to give the guy a chance and see what would happen. He pulled on me a bit until my rpms started climbing up, and just as I was about to pass he shut down..lol. It's all good.

I got out of the Viper and into the Z06 because the Z06 is a much better overall car, and not to mention it is quicker/faster too than the 03-06 Vipers..

You put it in the wrong gear to see if he could catch up and he barely did?........... I want one.

We were side by side at 65/70 mph on the expressway. While he was next to me, I downshifted to third gear. I should have downshifted to second gear, but decided to downshift to third instead. While I am in third gear with a passenger and he is in his sweet spot, we honked it off and both took off on three honks. When we took off on the third honk, he was able to pull ahead of me for a bit due to my car ot being near its powerband. Once my rpms started climbing up into my powerband, I started to reel him in and I was getting ready to pass him. As soon as I got to his door and ready to pass, he shutdown and quit racing.
