Let me try to explain my issues with all of this, then Im going to call it quits on this.
The biggest reason is that its just not worth the risk of running up to 160 MPH on public roads for $200... Plain and simple.
It has nothing to do with the z06... I have no idea what is done to it, and I didnt plan to ask. It could be a 1000 whp twin turbo 427 for all I know.
I do think its jerky as hell to call me a bitch, and then accuse me of talking shit about my car. Yes, I have told people at meets that there isnt anything there for me to race. Its not an arrogant statement...its just the fact. If I had a 15 sec car out with a bunch of 10 sec cars, I would say the same thing...there isnt anything for me to race. Not only that, but everytime I run my car, I not only risk the chance of breaking or wrecking it (esp in the cold,) but I risk the chance of going to jail. Im sorry if it sounds arrogant to not want to risk all the above just to show someone how fast my car is, but its just not worth it for me.
And why would someone get so upset and call me out, calling me keyboard racer/bitch/grow some nuts/whatever, and then say you dont think you can win??? Im sorry, but that just sounds silly. If you just want to run for basically fun and dont mind risking $200, why does there need to be such drama and name calling?
Oh...regarding another comment I read in another thread... Yes, I called out some camaros..but that was with my truck, not my car. Lets keep apples-to-apples here.
So Matt, here is my one offer. Ill do 40-140 for $200. If you want to go faster, you know the terms.
And the offer is still open on the dig run with the truck.
And for Christ's sake, let this be the end of this discussion. If we're doing this, PM me and lets stop the drama. Ill be out of town Friday night, but Ill be here Saturday.
