so you are telling me when your HICAS SYSTEM DIES, you no longer have control of the car(if thats the case I would think they would have recalled that item). But didnt you drive the car the next day? Since you are a damn good driver you should have corrected the car, but it sounds to me it was more like oversteer than the car just losing control on its on. I don't think Nissan would slap on rear wheel steering feature on a 40k+ car that would cause a person to wreck.

Well it appears thinking is not your strong suit. Read ANY of the GTR forums and most poeple hate HICAS for that exact reason. It causes wrecks. Why do you think people install HICAS lock bars?

Also I never said my HICAS died. I said malfunction. Let me give you a bit more info. What HICAS does is physically move your back wheels while you are in a corner. It is supposed to do so at a certain angle to help you come out of the corner faster. Often times what happens however, is the HICAS does not do its job properly, causing your back wheels to move before they should. This obviously causes wrecks. Feel free to do your research before you talk shit.

In my case however, as I was coming into the corner my malfunctioning HICAS caused my back wheels to twitch sending me sliding...


Like I said, its cool to talk shit. But know the facts first.

I never said that I was not hot in the corner... I just said that the vast majority of the accident was the fault of the HICAS. I am not saying I am faultless in any way. Just saying chances are it would not have happened without the mechanical aspect of it.
