wrecked sm cars- 2 in a year since ive been around
wrecked pms cars- 4-5 in a year since ive been around

so not only are they faster, we can drive better too.

and as for why didnt he call out brian. who would? stock turbo agianst a 35r. real hard race there. plus it was a bg tuned car and speedmonkey has already had one evo get its windshield busted by evos theyve touched, we dont need another.



and all the "super fast" cars of pms might want to be weary of any speedmonkey sti's this spring. specially ones with a license plate of "fghtclb"

so you are telling me when your HICAS SYSTEM DIES, you no longer have control of the car(if thats the case I would think they would have recalled that item). But didnt you drive the car the next day? Since you are a damn good driver you should have corrected the car, but it sounds to me it was more like oversteer than the car just losing control on its on. I don't think Nissan would slap on rear wheel steering feature on a 40k+ car that would cause a person to wreck.

Often times what happens however, is the HICAS does not do its job properly, causing your back wheels to move before they should. This obviously causes wrecks. In my case however, as I was coming into the corner my malfunctioning HICAS caused my back wheels to twitch sending me sliding...

I never said that I was not hot in the corner... I just said that the vast majority of the accident was the fault of the HICAS. I am not saying I am faultless in any way. Just saying chances are it would not have happened without the mechanical aspect of it.

I have never really had time to research it but do VR4 300GT's have the same issue..because I have noticed that when I enter a corner I feel it suddenly move and it scares the shit out of me...

Srry man, not sure. I dont know much about the VR4. The HICAS issue with the GTR is a well known fact to people in the community. I assume that the VR4 community would probably be the same way. Check some forums out.

But yea.. when your car suddenly decides to move itself in a path other then the one you dictate, its scary as shit.

I have only seen with my 2 eyes one car come from Top Speed. From what I saw it was the most ghetto install I have ever seen. I cant make a judgement on that one car though.

I have seen BG run the Supra numerous times and everytime it went to run it broke something...

there again I cant make assumptions off of one car.

I dont see too many TOPSPEED BUILT cars. i hear of cars tuned there, but i havent seen any built from the ground up. But im not in the EVO/STI business big time YET. so i just may not be looking in the right place.

As for BG supra, it made over 1k whp, and ran 8s when many of us didnt even street race out BOLT ON CARS. Race cars break, shit happens, FUCK CARS BREAK. nothing you can do about it.

anyone that thinks there is a car that makes 900-1000whp and doesnt grenade every once in awhile needs to think about building a car. hell ill even say 500-600whp on a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder is not reliable.

when you run 8s, things get replaced before EVERY RACE, im sure Tracy can comment on that if she wants to. im sure dan lost 2 or 3 motors before he figured out what HE LIKED. no one builds an 8second supra and doesnt blow shit up.

Look at skunk2s NA race RSX. WORLD RECORD HOLDER and i know for a FACT they were replacing rod and main bearings every 3-5 PASSES. they lost several motors to oil pressure problems as well

Thats why I cant make assumptions just off of one car. Now if they had 5 cars that where very similar doing all the same shit...I could make a judgement call. The same goes for Main Stream, Top Hat and all the other tuner shops around...you will always have bad apples. Good days and bad days.
