Honestly this in the ONLY extreme CPU that has EVER been worth the money.
The 965 and 975 were both the same as the other 1366 CPUs, jut higher clocks. Yeah, they did overclock a SHIT ton better, but still not worth the extra $700.....but if I were able to get 2 more cores, and 4 more threads, AND faster speeds....well then there you go.
Also if your interested in a 975 extreme they are down to $799 at microcenter right now.....the older 965 went to $400 before it sold, so this one might do they same. I may snag one up if they do get that cheap
