    I was under the impression apple is catching people doing this now and people are getting into trouble for it.

    Not sure about that, but I heard that it will void your warranty.

    I would read up on how to do it. I don't have an iPhone yet, but I'm getting one for Christmas. I HAVE jailbroken/unlocked my friends iPhones. It's simple, and takes literally 30 seconds to do.

    I'll do my research when I get mine.
