    yeah but allows you to use it on every platform,has real time settings and placements,allows for group convos. or you can make some of them private only with those you want to read/respond,post blogs with links to it on several platforms,allows people to comment on those blogs on anothere web page and will then show up on your wave and then will also post in real time to the post,wave,and blog location(s) when you or anyone else responds to it,etc.check it out in detail.i got the developers beta version for me to review and give ideas on and all i can say is that it is awesome!!!!if it wasn't for me already have been using/have access to cisco telepresence,this shit would be the best thing out there for conferencing.of course,telepresence is a $300K plus setup and is the coolest thing ever,but that's another topic/subject.

    google wave will be using xmpp protocol too...watch it will change the way you surf the web one day....and it will make your coffee , and does laundry...
