phenom II x4 @3.2?what is the model number on the chip?reason i am asking is because AMD made two different types of the x4s and one has the ability to actually be a true quad-core while the other is actually just a tri-core.it also depends on if your motherboard will allow you to unlock the 4th core of it or not.if it available,can be made into a true quad,and your motherboard will allow you to do it,then go ahead and overclock it.if not,then i would use great caution in trying to overclock a tri-core processor.i personally have never heard of anyone overclocking a tri-core,or even attempting to do so.research and make sure of what you have and what you will be doing.AMD is great for overclocking,they do have the world record right now running stable at 6.73Ghz!!
