    Exclamation "googleads..." when backing out of a thread?

    googleads.g.doubleclick.net/page
    i thought there was something up with my home computer using IE but im here at work and im noticing the same trend. i go into a thread or subforum and have to press back twice to jump over the hidden ad. what da dealio?

    im on firefox..... i hate internet exploder. but ive never had that happen on IE though

    This is usually a sign of some sort of infection (adware, virus). Basically it's gotten into your IE settings and is causing it to redirect to some crap site.

    1.) Go into Internet Options > Connection > LAN Settings and make sure you have nothing in the proxy field (unless your work is on some filter and needs that)

    2.) Internet Options > Advanced > Reset advanced settings and Reset to factory

    3.) Some toolbar (if any) could be causing this.

    4.) Firefox.
