Okey, i just did system restore. I have new xp windows installed. But now i dont have sound, most of my stuff is out of date.
Here are some pics of the errors. Where can i update my drivers for free?
All this stuff was working fine before system restore.

is your sound and video on-board or do you have a video and sound card?
It sounds to me like you don't have the correct drivers. You can have the computer search for it and install them.

Right click my computer....then click properties
then click the Hardware tab
then Device Manager
then click the little button that looks like a computer with an hour glass on it
it should find anything that has not had the drivers installed yet
If that doesn't work, usually you can get drivers for free from the company's site. Just look them up, and search around.

I tried the method slow suggested and it didnt work. I searched all over the web for my driver and i cant find shit. But i did sound the driver for my sound and that worked out well. Im so pissed that i cant play my online RPGs.
Go to the company's site, and call them on their contacts page. Ask where to find the driver, or ask to get a disk shipped to you.
pretty much all drivers are online, i have an hp laptop so i went to hp.com/support put in my model number and bam got them all, go to your computer manufacturers website, or if you have upgraded components, go to whatever company's website the product is. hope that helps
i tried installing my driver, and i get an error. Ahh i hate computers.
Any driver i try to install gives me that BS error. WTF.

I take it thats an onboard video card? do you know the brand/model number? if you can get that just google the drivers for it...should be able to DL that way

Is this computer one from dell or something like that or did you put it together?
Its a computer from Compaq that came with vista windows. I installed windows xp. It worked fine for 1 year, than i did a system restore, and now my shiet is not working.
