    Thumbs up Team Meeting September

    This is the heads up reminder for the Team meeting at IHOP. Be There or be (fill in the blank). It was good, no I take that back, it was awesome to see all the support from the team last night. We got some good things coming and I'm pretty excited about it. Just to go over one or two things.

    Team shirts - definately and I like Johnathan's suggestion.
    What I need is a cost for a batch. Who had the hook up on that? PM me please.

    Also I am talking to my own sponsors today about the team. I am shooting for a 40% discount to us in return for logos on the team shirt.
    This would include SPEC clutches, Cryofuzion and a yet to be named gauge company or distributor. Auto Meter did offer me a 30% but I wanted more and I've been working on AC for a year and was close to a deal but the contact person left the company. I am actively pursuing this or we may just go with a distributor to get an even greater discount. We'll see how that pans out.

    Team Resume??? You bet ya!!! When you go for a job interview you take a resume. It can make or break the deal. Same with hunting for sponsorship. The perspective sponsor wants to know they are getting a good ROI (return on investment). We need to show good show attendance and comitment as a team in order to secure a "team" sponsor. This is why a need a record of what everyone has won this year including Team wins. Send me this info asap so I can work the busniss end of this.

    Before we get to the meeting give me your ideas so PM me or e-mail me or what ever but get involved.

    Ok like I said I am activatly pursuing sponsorship like there is no tomorrow and I got our first one! Sooooooo all of you who come to the meeting will get your frist hook up (dangles carrot to boost attendance).

    crap we have a meeting on Sunday??? Anyone have a big truck I can use? One that can make it to the Gulf Coast and back and can haul or pull a lot?

    Might have to go help the parents this week to collect what is left of their belongings. This is due to Katrina hitting The area head on. We are betting there will be nothing but can't be sure.

    Sorry to have to ask, I sold my 4x4 5 months ago....

    IDEA: Due to high as hell gas prices lets all just send PM's to each other for the meeting instead of a couple of hours for the meeting it should only take about a week or so to get the idea across the table, this way we save gas what do ya think

    can't wait to see everyone at the meeting. bringing an upcoming pro drifter along as of right now. his car is not street legal, insured, or registered as it is strictly a drift car, might be able to trailer it to the meeting for everyone to take a peek at if he agrees to do so. if not we will bring plenty of pics for everyone to view, hope to see everyone there!!!
