not really the hoses are a bitch to clean only good point to a hookah is mulitple ppl can hit it at once. which is a draw back as well cuz you waste what ever you put in it... they are great when you are using them w/ the tobacco made for it... my buddy has one at his house we used to hit all the time but all his hoses got cloged and they are not cheap.

Yeah, they'll get clogged if you don't take care of it. But other than that, you're good. Just like your car, take care of it and it will take care of you.
