I hate to do this, but I'm planning on moving to the other side of the country soon and my lovely pool table just doesn't make sense to move with me. I've had it for 6 years. When I had it moved to my old house, I had it re-felted with black felt (I forget the brand- could find out if needed). The movers noted the table was in excellent condition except the pockets are a bit dry and deteriorating, but not falling apart or anything. Bumpers are in great shape. The table has a 46"x92" playing surface, just a touch larger than a standard 8' table.
This is a very special table. The top and blind rails are SOLID Mahogany. The cabinet and frame are made of hardwood on furniture grade ply.
The tapered style legs are the pedestal design. Meaning they extend all the way to the top of the cabinet and are bolted to the cabinet itself forming each corner. Much stronger than the conventional method of attaching the legs to the underside of the cabinet via a metal or wood plate.
I have a recommended moving service that I have used two times and would highly recommend...that is, if you don't have your own movers. I will not allow you to move it yourself, unless you are an insured mover.
