if its FACTORY tint..i dnt think u can remove it

It cant be factory, factory tint is metal that is enfused (sp) into the glass... Metal doesnt turn purple... aftermarket tint can turn when the dye in it fades... but you are right true "factory" tint cant be removed.. factory option tint can be..

maybe it wasnt factory option. :-\ i see every other e30 in my area with purple tint to so i figured it was....
"factory tint", "Factory Privacy glass" is not metal, but is made in the glass, so it can not be removed.
if it has turned purple? it is aftermarket and can be removed. Like stated above, most tint shop do "remove and Replace" R&R. and we do offer a package discount when getting both done at the same time.
we also use other methods to remove film other than spray and scrape. that is a last resort. PM or Call for a quote. mention IA.com for discount.
It is a hassle to do it yourself but just set yourself a day and scrape it down then use goof off or easy off to get the glue off
