call tracy @ battleground
Yeah, if you want a Garrett turbo.....Batlground is where you need to go.
Steer clear of deadbolt, try precision turbo Tracy at Batlground can get you a hook up from those guys on anything they sell.
I'm not knocking Precison turbo they make great turbos, But what is wrong with Deadbolt?
Lets just say there are some locals that have had some problems with his products in the past. Not only that but I really cant have any respect for someone who has built there entire business on ripping off another companys design(forced performance).
Precision has been around longer, they have great customer service and they are really nice guys on top of that.
Matt
P.S. I really dont want to get into a long drawn out arguement about deadbolt and his turbos, if you choose not to belive me then thats fine.
I've heard alot of negative views about deadbolt.
No argument, just discussion. I have a deadbolt worked over turbo. VF39. And is pretty damn good. Peak boost 21psi. Just wondering what was wrong with some of the others. Just know they have gotten 400hp on a db 20g,
I have seen dyno numbers as high as 427hp on a 2.5 with a 20g(8cm housing)
I dont know if this is still the case but Deadbolts turbos all used to be rebuilds and thats why they were cheaper than other peoples.
I know this isnt the Subaru forum so Ill take my other comment in there.
Matt
Call 770-975-8100 (turbo performance system). Ask for Joe and tell him (trinh) sent you. He is a direct dealer for Garrett, Precision, etc...All he does is sell turbos, he can walk you through what kind of power you want and help you pick out the right turbo for you apllications. I have bought 3 turbos from him so far.

I am wondering if this little rant is caused by your childish battle with one of our dealers, or a temper tantrum that we were not able to set you guys up as a dealer down there. (Which we had actually decided to do until several of our customers linked us to this thread.)
Also, how hard is it to plug a 50-trim Garrett compressor wheel and a TD06H turbine wheel into any available turbo calculator and figure out it works well? Nope not that hard at all, we did it as a test, then found out that our competition had something using the same parts. Trust me, with a $49.00 program you can test any configuration you want and see what works and what doesn't. So if we copied their stuff where is their TD05H-16G? Where is their 53,55,57,59, and 65 lb compressor wheel equipped versions? Where is THIER Fat-boy turbine wheel? (yes, that is TRULY a proprietary part, not something we bought from another distributor and then just claimed was our own invention.)
If anybody wants any TRUTHFUL information regarding our company, or our customer service you can check our website or any of the other websites where we advertise: nasioc.com, wrxfanatics.com, etc.
The ONLY turbo that EVER used to exist from us that is based on a rebuild is the Monster TD04 for the WRX and it plainly states that on our website.
All our Garrett, IHI, and Mitsubishi product advertised on our site is new, carries a 1 year warranty, and on rebuildable models, carries a free rebuilds for life policy.
So are these "problems" you mention real or is that just part of your little temper tantrum as well?
I wish I had enough spare time to do nothing but go online and make up ridiculous crap about other companies. Perhaps if you tried to bolster YOUR business instead of tearing down others you guys might be doing better over there.![]()
