PPS - I'm hoping you don't think your back windows are illegal. If they come that way from the factory, they are legal.

I think yes, in trucks and SUVs. Do a search. EvasiveEF9 posted a big thing about it a while back, and it quotes the law word-for-word. Search for posts by him.
However, I DO know that no matter what...if your back windows came that way from the factory, they are legal. Just as long as it's not what they call a "film" tint. "Factory" is usually a smoked glass...not a film that goes over it.

Some of the tint on the Ridgeline is illegal? My pops has an 07 and it doesn't seem to be too dark at all...Maybe they changed it with the different years? I'm not sure...

The front 2 windows have to have 32% visibility or more. The front windshield cannot have any tint, unless prescribed by a doctor, so i've heard. As for the rest of the windows, the rear window and the 2 back windows, they can be as dark as you want them to be

front windows can be at darkest...30%
not sure about the front windshield...but i think u can have the tinted strip at the top...
and as far as the rear windows go...julians right on that u can have them as dark as u want them...

But it does say with a 2% variation...so technically...you're both right.
