didnt think i would do this but i found something ive been wanting for awhile and so this car has got to go.

its a 1993 civic lx
4 door
dark gray
5 speed
power windows and locks

ok heres the good.
-AFTER HAVING NUMEROUS COOLING ISSUES THAT HAVE SINCE BEEN FIXED, I FINALLY DROPPED IN ANOTHER D SERIES WITH 80K MILES ON IT AND IT HAS NEW HEAD GASKET, TIMING BELT, WATER PUMP, AND RADIATOR
-decent milage for the age
-rides smooth
-gets between 31-42 mpg (NO LIE!) and could probably get a little better if i babied it more
-car has seen 5k rpm MAYBE (and a few people on here can vouch for it) 15 times since the topend was rebuilt.
-good clutch
-cheap insurance


ok heres the bad.
-needs a valve adjustment....this can be done whenever it gets bought as i work EVERYDAY just about and havent had the time to do it.
-dent in the quarter panel and a dent in the hood. the last owner apparently backed into a goddamn semi or something. i will try to get better pics up tomorrow to show this
-only two windows roll down (rear doors). i think its an easy fix but i havent had time to go to pullapart or hpc to get the switch
-IAC VALVE IS THROWING A CODE BUT CAN BE FIXED BEFORE PURCHASED


all in all i would say its a damn good dd. i have put 1500 miles on the new parts and have not had ANY issues minus the idle but when i get 238 miles on $15 of regular at 2.09 a gallon......the idle doesnt bother me...

to the buyer of the car.

I also have a EXTRA D15 out of a 95 lx that had 80k miles when pulled. motor does not smoke, tick, rattle, or leak ANYTHING and you can get this motor as a backup (or sell it) when you get the car (THIS MOTOR IS THE ONE IN THE CAR NOW)

2000 obo but more lookign for trades along the lines of a crx or a hatch. maybe also consider a small truck or other 2 door 5 speed car. we can set up a day and if you want to throw in some cash for gas, i will take you to FL and back to show you it is reliable but HOWEVER, due to a situation a few months ago where a IA'er blew up a buddies car revving it to shit on a test drive, YOU will not drive the car until i have cash in my hand. Sorry. As i said, i will drive the car ANYWHERE with you in it but im not letting somebody else blow up the car while i own it
