Default 87 GTI with 97 passat VR6 swap (german beast)

I bought this as a project car to play with but I'm going another direction and am selling the car. No expense was spared tons of new parts were added:

    1987 GTI w/ 1997 Passat VR6 engine + trans
    • New Head Gasket
    • New Clutch
    • New Seals
    • New Control Arm Bushings
    • New Battery
    • New gas Cable
    • New spark plugs and wires
    • New timing chain guides and chain tensioners
    • New Cv Boots
    • New Rack (550$)
    • New p/s Rack Boots
    • New 2.5 Tectonics Exhaust and Borla Muffler
    • New Billet Shift Knob
    • Engine Bay Jammed out in VW Jazz Blue
    • 1995 Jetta BBS Wheels
    • A3 Jetta dash (not installed)
    • 97 passat 5-lug brakes front and rear
    • Recaro seats
    • Zender Wing
Motor: running strong and smooth look brand new /// Exterior: straight no major issues just minor dings (there is a hood just not in pics) /// Interior: door panels and carpet in great shape; seats i would recover

The car is in great running condition it has been street driven. Its a little beast so much power for such a little car; perfect setup for drag/road racing or street sleeper. There are a few things left to finish: install the Mk3 dash (included) or put a Mk2 back in, hook up AC (included) was awaiting fitment of Mk3 dash, hook up ebrake (included), and new windsheild (has 2 cracks).

Selling for $3000.00 so thats what i'm asking. If someone can come up w/ 4000.00 i will have the car painted for you. (vin: 1vwdc0176hv062812)
