Yeah, 2.6L. My 510 only has the factory 1.6L now, but I think I am going to put a more "modern" engine in it.

Yeah their customs broker fucked up and checked DOT car instead of Parts car on the forums. So Customs flipped their shit and seized it. They are getting 3 times the value of the car since they have incurrence so I have a couple of options. They have 4 skylines that came in that I just went to see, and I can get a white gtst, which Im not doing, or wait for the settlement and get 2X my money which Im not doing, or I can put my money towards a GTR which I am doing. Today marks the 4th month of waiting and in two months I will meet with them again as the shippment of several GTRs are coming in. I dont complain though, what can you expect when bringing a car over. Also which ever car I choose will be titled for free so thats always a plus.
Man that sucks ass! I guess it's cool you will be getting a GTR though.

Looks like an s13 sr20de
*edit* actually that looks like an s14 sr de* I think I can see the notch back.
It's a non-turbo SR20de from an s14. It's suppose to net me around 140whp, but with a few mods, I hope to get somewhere from 160-180whp. But we will see. I have talked to alot of people and they say for drivability that the non-turbo sr20 motor is your best bet.
The camber is a bitch in the rear. I have never driven my datsun since I first bought it off of here.

Thats true. I guess you would have to guesstimate how much clearence you have with the sr. But it shouldnt be too diff from a stock header if the stock header clears everything.
Chris, this is what I was saying about getting a sr20de from J-hot for like $500. I can help you with it and even front you most of the money. 150hp in a 510 is a crapload. Get 170rwhp and you're flying.
It's going to cost alot more than $500 dollars just so you know. I think I am somewhere in the $2000 range spent. Since I got my SR20de with tranny, ecu, harness, radiator(can't use), airbox(can't use) but have to use the MAF sensor and it also came with 2 front strut assemblies. I just sent off my wiring to be done. $300, engine and tranny mount were $500. Cut driveshaft $80. I had the stock radiator pressure tested $55, need electric fan, relocate battery in trunk, if I can think of more I will tell you.
$35 for EFI out of tank fuel pump.
All the rest of the stuff aint bad. $500 for the sr, nore pay for the mounts or have turbo dave make them. $100 for the ds. rest of the stuff is laying around the garage. Wiring is no problem. I say less then 1300
