    My boost controller took a shit.. Either my cylanoid is fried or the switch behind my EVC is in the wrong position.. whatever the case.. My best dyno stands at 340rwhp..

    Reasons like this is why I hate *all* EBC's 'cept one. The only EBC I've ever liked is using some type of boost solenoid in conjuction with an AEM. Otherwise, MBC's are superior, cheaper, and easier. =]

    x2 what charles said. I have a Profec type 1 and it sucks. Had a mbc but then took it out when it got cold and my car started hitting fuel cut.

    So now I have the bleeder t home depot boost controller. Its great....(thumbs down).

    I went home to Gainesville for the day, did Matt dyno the Se-r?

    This is the first time I've been able to actually use the boost controller too. The guy I bought the car from had it hooked up wrong...I just finally got it fixed last weekend.

    sorry to hear bout ur car ren that sux!!!!!

    im very disapointed in my run too but i was running so lean im sure it wasnt good 4 the car

    sometime soon i should have it corrected though... no more driving till i do.......

    my EBC is great when its hooked up.... i have never had any problems with it

    i have a HKS evc III

    Hallman/TurobXS/Forge MBC = ~$70
    Average EBC = ~$200+

    Avg time to hook up a MBC = ~10min or less
    Avg time to hook up a EBC = ~1hour or more

    Avg time to set a MBC = ~10 min or less
    Avg time to set a EBC = however long it takes you to read the instruction manual to realize what everything means, then a bunch of pulls

    You get the point... heh, but if you like the bling factor, EBC's are great.

    Parving was here but he didn't dyno.

    I think that Blake made the most HP with 570 in his Supra???

    Ya'll missed the corolla wagon, it made 44 whp and shot a 5 foot flame out of the back. It was awesome!

    my EBC took 15 min to install...... 10 min to set up...... and every day to play with

    and i had never used a boost controller b4 that......

    and ebay is great got mine for $65 and theres not a damn thing wrong with it....

    I dynoed my car for a first time I got that black Civic with a turbo-D, it made 163WHP/158WTQ ... not bad for a first time, lol

    I was surprised when those Celicas got only 151WHP .. and the V8 Mustang got 210 WHP ...

    does anyone remember what the black Prelude made ?

    Yeah a definate thanks to tracy and the rest of the battleground crew. . I had alot of fun and suprised i made 90 hp and 92 tq but hey its a d15 with only an k&n intake and breather filter.. Oh and could i get a battleground logo for my car

    How about a Joe P = $40 The only other boost controller I would spend money on would be a Hallman (either dual stage, or the one where you can adjust the boost from inside the car). But otherwise, What's the point of spending so much money on a EBC? They are more expensive and don't hold a stable boost pressure as well as MBCs do.

    speaking of which, I have a Hallman manual knob type, which is easily mounted in the car with much silicon high temperature durable tubing... my car wont be up for a while so I may sell... new, $150 with boost gauge and custom mounted pod (if u have a starion its a perfect fit... if not, its useless, lol)
