Since I didn't want to mess with such a low mileage car but putting in a stand alone, this popped up for sale on a Starion forum. Pretty sure this is older than half of IA's demograph right now. :boobies:

They were made from somewhere in the 80s up till around 95 or 96 and then Advan came out with these.

The Super Advans came out around 94-95.

I think the only other wheel older than your Advans were the A3A model.

It is! Look at it this way, it's old enough that it quite literally plugs into the ECU where the harness would, and then the engine harness plugs into the FCON.

I heard someone compare the ECU ( if it can be called that) from a starquest to an Atari once, can't thing of more fitting comparison.

Yup. Awhile back ( about 5 years back ) I was working with a guy out in Texas on decoding the ecu, and we managed to get a hexadecimal data dump of the fuel mappings. Our theory was that since the 88/89 ECU's had a sister board on them, that we could maybe do ROM burning for mappings. Never really went much farther past that dump though

whats sad is Greddy and HKS made some of the highest quality aftermarket parts but most guys didn't want to pay for high quality I.E. HKS F-CON PRO, Greddy T-88h turbo kit, , Greddy Profec B, HKS dragger 2jz, Greddy 4 row MKIV. I considered these the behemoths of the import aftermarket. Carry on....

Honda - supplying products of the highest quality at a reasonable cost. Member of the high mileage club.

BODHI - "whats the lowest you will take" then dont even bother posting in this thread! i dont have the time wasting on fuckin dumbfucks who dont know how shit works -- which is me, selling a phone and expecting someone to buy it. At least have some balls to tell me that youre too cheap to buy or say - fuck shoot me a pm if youre too embarrassed
