Any supermoto guys here? I've been debating buying a DR-Z400SM since I sold my R1 a month or so back. I basically live at the foot of Unicoi, Blood/Wolf Pen, etc and can't go bikeless. I rode my buddies for about 30 miles or sell and fell in love.

I have a "mini" moto. It's not street legal though, so I don't ride it much.
Only downside to the 400 is not a lot of top end speed. A friend of mine sold his, and got a KTM Super Duke. Way better.
The videos that I posted the other day had him up front on it.

Eh I'm not much of a top end speed guy anyway. It was fun on the R1, but the highest speed limit here is 55, and that's on 1 road. No real need to run 75+ anywhere, I have more fun at 50-60 in the twisties. If I was going bigger I'd get a 525EXC that's already tagged. Not a fan of the SuperDukes

But truthfully a well done DR-Z would be fine for what I want. I may even buy a CRF450X and convert it, I miss my old CRF450R.

My boy had a DR400 for about 3 months. He didn't like it as much as other previous bikes. It slid a lot around corners and tore up the tires fairly quickly. They look amazing and sound awesome though.
