    I really like the look of the new Mazdas. Yours looks very nice. The 7 is nice, but after having one explode in front of me and spray its engine all over my car I am not a huge fan.

    Looks like you fabbed those CF sunvisors urself, if so I know how painful that process is (soooooo much resin), but i'm with QD FC all day, just remove that black crap off the tail lights

    Damn, rx8 wheels look great on the 6. And that looks like my old 87 tii, I sold it about 7 years ago to a guy from Georgia.

    dude im so sorry to say this
    i had one of these v6 mazdas..
    got it @ 90K miles...
    then @ 96K it started knocking for NO fucking reason...oil light was flashing...
    i lost 2.5K on it..
    ill NEVER own a non rotary mazda again
    infact sorry but mazda is a POS car company now that ford has some share in or w/e
    these dura-tec engines in these mazdas suck ass!!!!!!


    but i hope u have much better luck than i did...

    on the side note..i swear to God i kept up with chevy350z step dads cobra in the mazda 6...it was a neck to neck race, which he denies happened(excuses excuses) but there were witnesses...

    Was either a mid 90's Cobra and you were in a speed6 (then it would be semi, halfway, kind of close... possibly)

    He didn't know how to drive the Cobra (if it wasn't a mid 90's)

    or... this story is made up. Mazda 6's are pigs. They are heavy and underpowered. (no offense to the OP at all, the cars look great. )

    Thanks guys. The V6s in the 03-05 6 are known for engine failure due to the precats. I am at 137k with no problems. We have had members on our 6 forum that have had earlier engine death than 95k. I guess that is what happens when you shoehorn an engine that was not really intended to go in there in the 1st place. I am thinking of replacing it with the 2011 Fusion Sport 3.5l when the time comes.

    Looks good man take the coils off the 6 and put them on the 7 lol. I would daily the 7 I did for 4 years with mine lol. glad to see the car making progress but just give in and get some s5 tails lol I did do you go to any meets any more I have not seen you around in a while?

    Been trying to make it out to some of the V-meets with the FC. Had it at Import Alliance here in Atl. Just kinda hard getting out more often with the boys & the wife working 2 jobs.

    Man I give you major props for raising 3 kids & tackling two project cars. I have two kids myself & it's a struggle to have such an expensive hobby, but my wife isn't so understanding, lol.

    Both cars look great. My good friend had a T2 the same color. The few times I drove it were very pleasing. Keep up the good work.

    Thanks man. Old hobbies are hard to die. All I do is take my time and modify when the funds and the wife agrees. Usually it is the funds that tend to agree more...lol

    Update!!!

    Motor in the FC took a crap late last year. Have one here @ work that will be gone through, ports cleaned up more, all new seals & gaskets. Have acquired a Garrett GT4202, Haltech E6X & a bunch more goodies. Hopefully she will be out on the road soon.

    I would love to have another FC but I am honestly enjoying my old school bike and my Mini Cooper right now. I am prob picking up an early 60 Chevy truck pretty soon though as something to toy with

    I hear you. When the turbo gets here I need to order a new manifold & get Rob to do a 4" downpipe for me. When the car is up & running, I am going to fly Steve Kan in to do the tuning. He recently tuned my friend's 3 rotor FC with great success & is being flown down to retune it with the new Borg Warner 88mm turbo & nitrous setup on the 9th.
