Gotta get some smaller tires, but got a good deal on them.

The other wheels looked better
Fitment was better, but I'll take name brand staggered 2 piece wheels over skinny unstaggered Great Value brand wheels any day.

just looks awkward IMO.
CD5 Accord
like the older ones better, too much rubber on the volks
zoom-zoom-zoom
even if the car can't pull it off right? It's like a small dude wearing the same shit as the big guy next to him thinking they look the same. The big guy can pull off what he's wearing cause it fits him, but the skinny dude can't because its just too big. even if its name brand clothes.
he got something way too big for his car making it look ugly.
:idb:
God damn...
Ya'll are making it out like the Volks are fucking Dub's or something... They are at best an inch bigger in diameter, which can be compensated by the right size tire...
But yes to answer an earlier question. Rim made by name-brand company that you don't have to worry about collapsing in a interstate hwy pothole > No-name cheap rim properly sized.
However, I do have some 13x7 -35-ish offset rims if you feel the need to go smaller and Hella-flushness like everyone else suggests.

Why don't I run them you ask...
Well, I'm just not Hella-Flush enough I guess.

On that car, they damn near do look like "dubs," lolol.
I never suggested this "hella flush" as I never use that term. I just think a smaller diameter wheel would look the part better than over-sized ones. I know I'd go with 13's (personal preference), but 15" would be the max size. 15" with 205/50-15 tires would look quite aggressive and fit the car very nicely. Later, QD.
why are you changing stuff up? You quoted your self, he said "skinny unstaggered Great Value brand wheels any day". As in DRAG wheels or Enkei wheels. he never said No name cheap rim bullcrap. but im pretty sure he won't have to worry about potholes in those volks since it looks like he can skydive out the car if he jumps out the door.
And im sorry but your taste in cars is not that good, if you think he should keep those all mighty volks instead of some cheaper brand name wheels that is smaller and fits better and probably look better.
:idb:
lol this thread. Obviously some guys will suggest function, others will suggest form. I personally think theyre too big. what i dont understand is, i know youd have no problem flipping those and buying better fitting AND brand name wheels, so why not do it?
CD5 Accord
what are the specs on them and lmk if you wanna get rid of them
I've been going back and fourth on my feelings for 13/14s for the car, but these wheels came up for sale locally and couldn't pass them up. Not staying for sure, but I have no problem with them.
As always, your opinion is appreciated.
The old wheels were 16x8" and the new ones are 16" (supposed to be 8" in front and 9" in rear, I think it's 7/8 though.) So almost the exact same sizing, just staggered and different offset.
The old wheels were XXR 002s, so pretty sure these are 10x better in every sense aside from fitment, but again, I'd much rather have no so great fitting Volks than generic 0 offset XXR bullshit wheels.
