This movie will be good. Scorsese is a directing genius, and Leo is a phenomenal actor. I want to see this pretty badly, along with Wolfman.

The movie was good. Leo kept his accent from the departed but I did feel the movie was a little too long. The movie did keep my attention at all times and was suspenseful until the very end. The only thing that annoyed me was some dude 2 seats down from me that was snoring.

great movie, it was a little long, the beginning was boring because it started of slow, but it picked up about an 45 mins in the movie... i passed out for like the first 15 mins but i saw the last showtime of the night and i was tired as hell....lolol

they set up this whole movie with all these scenes including him traveling to get to the island on a ferry, and it turns out that the whole thing never happened, and that nothing we saw that set up the whole movie ever took place. that's just fucking silly.

you can't have a movie that shows you watching the main character and then you find out nothing that you watched ever really took place - that's retarded.

And it's not the first movie to use 'perspective' in such a way... - fight club did it as well.

yeah those scenes happened. Remember they let him act out his fantasy so maybe he might cure himself.

I read the book last weekend. I'm not much of a recreational reader, but I literally didn't want to put it down. Despite now knowing the end I still can't wait to see the movie.

I love how so many people think a movie is ruined if they figure out the twist before they're supposed to...enjoy the ride.

You people are out of your minds. This movie was absolutely horrible.

Paper thin plot, laughably predictable "twist" (i literally called it walking into the theater and was mad that i was right), a sub-par at best performance by DiCaprio, whose attempts at various accents continue to humor me, and a huge disappointment from Scorsese. Dismal supporting cast didn't help either. I fell asleep at one point, and almost walked out at another. It was just plain BAD. 3/10, and thats being a bit liberal.
