Default lets go d-series, sputtering like shit

ok so i know the cat failed horribly but it had to be due to something else going wrong, its a SOHC ZC 1.6L newly swapped has run great for over six months. i have swapped plug wires and rotor button, regular oil changes i mean the maintinance i have kept would make some people cry! so simply i ask wtf!

    anyone had this problem?
    any ideas?

    help!!!!

try a few known good dist. i've seen "new" dist from various autoparts stores bad out of the box...don't rule it out.

    run down this list:
    1. ngk plugs?
    2. stock wires or ngk wires?
    3. coil
    4. icm
    5. other wiring

just discovered north ga and mice and how they like cars. it's getting cold and they love to hide out in/eat car's wiring.
